Water-based flexo ink mixing for corrugated and packaging
We mix water-based flexo inks to order at our facility in Tallinn, using Flint Group recipes. They are made for printing on paper, board and cartonboard, including corrugated board. Our customers are flexo printers in Scandinavia, Finland and the Baltics, as well as manufacturers in other industries, such as producers of building and decorative materials.
What to send us
Send us the colour target (a Pantone code, Lab values or a sample), the quantity, and when you need the ink. For repeat orders we keep the recipe on file, which speeds up the next order.
How we check the colour
We check colour matches on a proofing device and with a spectrophotometer, and compare the result by eye against the Pantone guide or the customer's own sample.
Our more demanding customers require their colour to be printed within ΔE (Delta E) 1. With them, we have agreed that the ink we mix does not exceed ΔE 0.60.
Lead time and batch size
Mixing is usually done the same working day or the next. Transport comes on top of that, and most orders reach the customer within 2–3 working days.
The minimum batch is 20 kg. Where possible, and if the recipe allows, we have also mixed 10 kg batches on request.
Other inks from Flexum
Alongside water-based flexo, we supply Deutsche Druckfarben inks for offset and Pulse Roll UV inks for narrow-web flexo. See our products or request a quote.
